Career Planning in India - ft. A.S.N. Heshwar

The duration from March to May is critical as students have to make vital decisions concentrating their career so that they will have a better future.  The job market is flooded with their incongruity between competition and career.

The attitude of adolescents towards seeking a career is more for a job search done than finding a vocation which conforms to their personality.  Subsequently after Higher Secondary Education the parents begin to search for courses that have a greater scope for placement rather than basing their pursuit on the scope for the personality of their ward.

The term internship has been widely used among educator's as a mandatory element to qualify for career planning.  It is indispensable.  The internship is functionally different from apprenticeship.  The former is a short term trading that has a wider prospective record in their career planning.  Internship is specific to a given career and relative really long term oriented.  In reality internships are more often interpreted and confined only to the discipline the students have opted out there and graduated level.

Students interested in taking teaching or other skills but for want of field experience where want to choose the job in hand.  This could not only be counted as a disturbing phenomena but also likely to affect the economic efficiency and social equity of a country.  Indian education curriculum does not provide an opportunity to contemplate on a broader perspective of career planning template.

It has to be inherited that not all students are capable of exploring their career while registering for their undergraduate degree as they could have objects for a given course by their pressure for retinal influences.  As a consequence there are adequate chances for the students to switch over to another discipline for higher education or to take up a career other than is discipline.

It is reasonable to redeem the opportunity by making the students aware of integrated career planning other as a part of the curriculum for as co curricular activity.

MY CARRING ELDER BROTHER

You gave no one a last farewell,  nor ever said good bye. You were gone before we knew it,  and only god knows why, A million times I will cry,  It love alone could have saved you, You never would have died, In life we lived you dearly, In death we love you still, In our hearts you hold a place, No one else can fill, It broke our hearts to lose you, But you didn't go alone,  for part of us went with you, The day god  you home, We will meet again someday, I know in a better place, I thank God he made my brother…
